Issues

So I have come to the conclusion that I just have issues. To the point where its embarassing. Anyone who has ever lived with me can confirm that I have the most random ill-fated medical happenings... And it all usually happens all within a 4 week span for the year. So I knew I was due this year as it is almost September and just my luck... oh did the misfortune come. Granted it wasnt a bunch of things that happened but just a few things that just plain sucked.

First off... I am crazy allergic to spider bites. I am just minding my nice business when I feel a couple pinches on my arm. At first I thought it was just mosquito bites... looked the same way felt the same way... and then came the fever, chills, and spread. ugh.... This was taken on day two... and on day 3-4 it covered my whole arm.

And this made me sick for about a week.

The next week was our championship kickball game. I was playing catcher. Please note, I am 5'1 and about 120 lbs. Long story short.... I got knocked on my booty by a 6'3 275 lb guy. Freakin ouch.

Then last week, I started feel sick to my stomach and extremely dizzy at work. Next thing I know... I was almost passed out in the bathroom. Talk about embarassing. Then all I remember was my boss driving me home and a co worker following behind so I would have my car... an hour drive from where I work. double embarassing. Come to find out.. I had an inner ear infection. I had the worst vertigo I have ever had... and it lasted about 5 days. After missing two days of work and being refined to my apartment for an eternity... this better be the end.

All in all I am trying to find it comical... While in the back of my mind praying that nothing more happens. But these are the wonderful issues of my life :)

Birthday-Ness

So for about 6 years I have had what I refer to as a "Birthday Curse". Every year since my 16th Birthday I have had a not so bueno birthday. Lets just say they were filled with working either 13 hour days, on the road, or getting my car totaled by a hit and run driver on my 21st. Yeah.. So this year I was determined to make it a good one. And lets just say I succeeded. With help from family and friends.
Wednesday was the actual day and since we all know that's the most happening time of the week.. well it was dedicated to family. So after my awesome dinner of choice of steak, mashed potatoes, and rolls, I got to enjoy my favorite.... Strawberry cake and cupcakes. I only get it once a year and its my absolute favorite!
Then on Saturday about 15 of my closest friends got together and we all just had a pretty awesome night. It meant so much that all of these people came out for my special day and that they helped me have by far one of the best birthdays I have ever had. And a special thanks goes out to Solaire. Thanks everyone!

Good News Great News & Updates

So the verdict is in for my car..... Drumroll Please...Broken thermostat, broken something stabilizer, transmission flush and fluid replacement, power steering fix, and new front brakes.....

Well I actually had to fork out a little for the brakes but nothing too bad. Turns out some parts that needing fixing on the car were actually part of a recall. And thanks to my iron clad warranty... my wallet and bank account were saved. Thank you Fidelity

O and a special thanks goes out to Kevin for letting me use his car while mine was in the shop. I got to roll in the gangster Jeep :)

This weekend.... was a blast. I had one of my favorite people in town to visit... Miss Timara F. And... I got to see my friend Alyssa too. Pretty much.. It was a much needed ladies night. I hate that this picture came out blurry but at least I have one :)

No matter what we are doing I can always have fun with these two. Thanks Loves!

I also got to particpate in my Southern duty by going to a gun show. Yup... Oh how I love seeing my southern rednecks in Camo and cargo pockets within cargo pockets and veteran gun enthusiasts. It was pretty cool and I learned some new stuff too. By the way.. I want to take a shooting class now. I want to be like Bobby Lee Swagger- Mark Wahlberg- in that movie Shooter. Swagger.... Ill be your sniper spotter any time.

Broken Car Broken Heart

So it is with sadness and reluctantcy that I announce... my car broke down yesterday.... On the way home from work... about 45 minutes from my apartment.....

OUCH.
Driving down a road enjoying the somewhat breeze in the 99 degree air, I hear a "er er er er er" any time I accelerate. Then I notice... My AC is NOT working... Great.

luckily I had a feeling at 7:30pm that I just might need to pull over. With my luck... every car place was closed... Crap.

Then I see what looks like civilization at a Car Center so I immediatly pull over warranting a honk from the jerk riding my tail. They're closed.

Then I see a clean older man wearing way too short khaki shorts with a bottle of beer in his hand. "What can I seem to help ya with miss"?

Me... acting like a helpless damsel in distress... "Oh my, well I'm not quite sure... are you sure youre closed?... I could really use your help." Being a woman has its advantages. As they open the hood I see steam flying out like it was getting paid to do so and hear the whistle of an overheated car. Long story short... they looked at my car and it was as I expected... undriveable. 24 hours and a tow later to the Mazda dealership, I am awaiting the diagnosis on little TY- my car.

So please pray for TY and my hopefully Iron Clad warranty that I opted to pay for that is making me broke. :)

I quite love my little black mazda 3 with 10% gangster tinted windows and envious 6000K HID headlights...Details to follow.

New Chapter New Place

Ok people.. So I am FINALLY putting up pictures of my new place. I know I know nothing fancy but its a continual work in progress... Until I find a home that I want to spend all of my money on. I live right in Kennesaw close to my family and friends. And... I. love. my. place.. Best thing.. Its ALL MINE! No sharing with anyone else or having to be considerate of others. Just do what I want. :)


This is my beautiful living room... and you can see attached is the spare bedroom.. currently nothing to great going on in there other than its my temporary yoga/workout/clutter room. But I recently painted and love it!

And this... as they say.. is where the magic happens. And by magic I mean SLEEP. I want to paint the walls gray and do a dramatic green curtains... thoughts?

This is the view from my back porch. It is so relaxing to come home to. And best part.. Its on the west side so I have many sunset evenings here.

So there you have it people. My quaint little place that I am quite in love with. Oh and if any of you ever have suggestions on how to make it nicer/ cute ideas.. Im very open to any ideas :)
