Today I Need Your Help.

Hello all you crafty people! Today is Tuesday which means it is one day closer to the weekend and Christmas! And I have a confession for you... I am the ULTIMATE holiday shopper-procrastinator. I even buy all my Christmas decorations late (mainly so I can get the sale discount) because the vast array of people at stores is too overwhelming. literally... like panic attack overwhelming. Story for another time.

Confession:
I have yet to purchase ONE gift for loved ones and Christmas is 5 days away.

Please begin the judging. In my defense, my dad's side of the family is doing a "Handmade gift exchange only" type of deal this year where we focus more about what we have than what we want. The boys got a Christmas puppy early this month in exchange for Santa giving their toys to less fortunate children. This is where you come in. I have NO idea what to make:

Dad: Most thoughtful and selfless man in the world.
Mom: Check
Brother(20):Likes camo, redneck things, and cars

Sister (17): Sings, wears headbands everyday, obsessed with zebra and boyfriend
Brother (8): Star Wars, READING, and Science experiments
Brother(5): Star Wars, Karate, Legos

And get for my Mom's side:

Mom: Amazing, hard worker, thoughtful
Brian (Bonus dad): Runner, Georgia Southern Alumni
Brother (16): Just got a driver's license, Geogia Tech Fan, Justin Beiber hair though he refuses to admit it
Sister (12):  All things girly

Overwhelming right? So please please please help me out with ideas this holiday season. I think I have a direction to go for each but Christmas snuck up on me this year with work and life. Thanks to all who help!

For my sister who is 19, I made a stencil from a print out of leopard print (you could do zebra!) and I am tracing and painting it on a canvas that she can hang in her dorm room.

I am in the same boat! I haven't bought a single gift! How stressful!
The only gift I can really think of is for my brother, he is a avid snowboarder so I am getting him some toques + a snowboard wax kit.

For your younger brothers what about a Marshmallow Shooter?? Several different versions and super easy and cheap.

Here are a couple links---

I'm not going to be much help, because I have procrastinated a lot too. I plan to go do more shopping this week and get just a little something for people. My family is small, so I guess that just stays in the back of my mind. You are right about buying Christmas decorations later to get a good deal- I bought a bunch today and I plan to buy more after Christmas... I need the deals on seasonal decor. Good Luck and Merry Christmas!!

For your dad, maybe you could get a kinda plain picture frame and hand write a message, quote, scripture, etc on it for him and put a black & white family photo in it?

For your 20 year old brother, you could always buy some camo fleece fabric and make one of those tied, no sew blankets.

For your sister that likes zebra print, you could get some wooden letters that spell her name and glue zebra print scrapbook paper to the front.

Hope this helps you out! And good luck with getting it all done! :)
