Oh Hey! I'm Lindsay

Thanks for stopping by! My name is Lindsay and this is a blog to share my life and all that crazy stuff that comes with it.  I am finally in my first place that is all mine, working my first big job, and learning how to live my grown up life on "My Terms". So here you'll find a bit of everything from life, advice, ramblings, and randomness. I apologize in advance for any confusing humor as I tend to crack myself up when I write. So if I haven't scared you off, I hope you stay awhile. And if you do follow, let me know! I love to get to know my readers and meet who's new.

About Me

I am big on not portraying my life as perfect. I am your normal, everyday woman who has gone through happiness, hard times, love, loss and obstacles. But with that, I am very blessed to live a life that I do and love it. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and have pretty much lived in the South my entire life. The South is not a place, its a way of life. I am friendly, I give hugs, I talk to and smile at random strangers, and I say "bless your heart". I know I think I'm funnier than I really am, but maybe you'll get my humor too. 

I grew up LDS - (Mormon) and my faith is the most important thing to me. As I regretfully accept that religion is a sensitive topic, I only write about religious beliefs when I feel its right. As it is something very sacred to me, I choose to only bring it up when I feel the need. I went to BYU-Idaho and came back single. Be amazed.

I am a business woman. I have been lucky and blessed to be successful in summer sales, business, and my career. I often offer advice, career and resume help, or answers to any questions people might have.

I am the oldest of 5 kids on my dad's side and have a step brother and step sister with my mom's new marriage. Family is everything. I am very blessed to have 2 younger brothers who are still learning the ways of the world as they are 5 and 8. My family is my life. 

I have struggled with weight, am learning to live with a new diagnosis of Meniere's Disease. I am always trying to improve myself to become a better, wiser, and healthier woman.

I love food, life, adventure, and understand that everyday is a gift. I am so grateful for my followers and think they are the most awesome people in the world. I am glad you found your way to me and hope you will stick around for the long haul

1. Q: What do you do now that you have graduated?

A: A week after graduation I landed my first Job. I currently work at the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) through an IT company called Unisys. I work as a Business Operations and Finance Anaylst for one of CDC's IT program offices. I love it.

2. Q: You say your in youre first place. Do you have pictures?

A: Yup! I posted about it in August, 2011.
