Happy Monday
To sum it up... I had a sleepover with my sister, hung out with a pretty hilarious guy :), felt a little under the weather, helped at my family's hardware store, filled like 50 propane tanks and smelt awesome, went to a craft event at my old highschool-wierd, ate some amazing food, & had an awesome Sunday at church.
O... and last night I dreamt that I got hitched to this guy.. I was so blissfully happy.. And then I woke up... Sad Day.
Hope you all had a great weekend!

Brunswick Stew
I walk inside my parents home to hear the TV blasting Power Ranger Samurais with two little boys doing karate moves on the living room floor. All seems pretty normal... until I see about 30 cans of corn, tomatoes, a bunch of other stuff - and one HUGE pot on the stove. My frantic mother calls me from the grocery store... "I'm at Publix waiting to get more meat. They didnt have enough. I have to wait here while they package meat. C'MON!!!... O and Rachel just told me we have to have this all cooked and set up at the school by 12:30... for 40 kids."
I immediatly start prepping what I can, cleaning the house so she doesnt have to worry about it, watch the boys do a "new" karate move while still hearing "Lindsay! Now watch this one!" every 9.3 seconds. My mom rushes in and we start going crazy with the can opening.
Then I hear this.. "Oh no.... the pot isnt big enough!". Seriously???? How is that possible? It was already filled to the brim!
Long story short... After losing and finding 2 can lids, having to stand on a chair to even mix the stew, not having a ladle big enough resulting in a ladle/hand stir, and taking 2 people to even carry this pot... it was an eventful start to the day. We got to the highschool in the nick of time - while having Rachel frantically call us every 2 minutes as teenagers do - and the Brunswick Stew was a Success and a big hit!
Side note.. Drama moms (Of Drama kids) should have their own reality TV show on TLC... WOW...
But all in all after laughing so hard it felt like a workout, I learned first hand how to cook a meal for 40, and learned that you should probably take the can lid off BEFORE you pour it in the pot.
Pics below :) Enjoy.

Hello Halloween
Mostly... Halloween crafts... both my mom and I have gone InSaNe on our crafting. This is my first Halloween in my own place and I was SOOOOOO Excited to finally be able to decorate!
So here are some pics so you can see how it turned out :)
Ps... Special Shout Out to my Mom-Lori Mom- For helping me be creative and for help with these awesome crafts!
This is what everyone gets to see on my floor... All of my neighbours LOVE it! (except one little girl who initially got scared by the bats.. oops..) All I have to do is carve some pumpkins. Not bad for my first outdoor display!

My first homemade wreath ever! (Its actually made from pages of a horror book - It looks pretty awesomome with the page writing) - How did I do??
The entryway!

Remember these from here? I took out the candles and put a small strand of orange lights.
Coming up are some of my favorite items!! I was so sad this picture turned out blurry but oh well... I got these awesome small bottles from Hobby Lobby for incredibly cheap! like $2 cheap. Local craft stores had halloween stickers that we placed on the bottles to make them look like potions and elixirs! My favorite about the one below is that I want to use it for valentine's too.

Then I decorated the outside of my porch with orange halloween lights.. The best part is.. everyone can definitely see them from the road since I'm on the top floor.
Hope you like my Halloween decorations as much as I do!!! Leave some comment love and let me know your thoughts!

Weekend and Randomness
Friday Kevin took me to Vini Vidi Vici's... Where we had one of our first dates over 2 years ago! It is by far my most favorite place EVER! Kev always gives me a hard time because I could eat pasta and chicken for pretty much every meal.. But the night was very special and alot of fun! O and the gang of guys in the back made for some highlighted entertainment.. I think they are high up music industry people because they talked about managing these high named music groups... Cool! We ate TONS of food, had incredible conversation as always, and just had a really great evening <3

Saturday was followed by yet another afternoon motorcylce ride. Again, the weather was absolutely perfect! Now that it is officially Fall, the colors in GA are amazing! I will admit though that I am still crazy sore... The only thing that I am still getting the hang of is holding myself up when we break or change gears so I dont crush kev against the handles... no bueno... I am developing new muscles in my hips and butt from trying this and it is not enjoyable the next day.... but still entirely worth it! I have always loved going on rides and always will.
Saturday Night I got to have a date night with my momma!- My Lori (Dad's Wife) Mom! We went to yet another favorite place... ASAHI! We LOVE Japanese Hibachi... Afterall, it is in my blood right? It was a really awesome evening and was a much needed mom daughter time. I had a blast- mom is seriously hilarious. After pacing ourselves on the food overload... it was movie time. I was surprised I didn't go into a food coma. We went to go see "The Help" and it was an awesome movie. Very informative and very enjoyable. It really was an eye opener for me on how closed minded people can be and how that affects others. And Yes, I cried a lot... haha but I really would recommend it! The movie that is... not crying...
And lastly below is just a bunch of random randomness... I have the most awesome friends who are crazy and who I am awlays laughing with. Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend! Leave some comment Love!
