Holy Finals!!!!!!????

This week can only be described in one word. HeLL. Sorry! It just had to be said haha. And its only Tuesday!!! But sadly still feels like Monday with a four hour break for some sleep. But IM ALMOST DONE!! Im so glad to be staying busy though because my Family and Kevin come in this week!! Ah I cant wait! If I had nothing to do I would be going crazy!!

Good News Minute:
1. So Completely NAILED my consulting presentation! Heck yes. My client also won the Idaho Business Competition.
2. The client loved and is now using my designs and graphics to represent his company for logos and business cards











3. Im pretty much done with college so I can now be an...












4. I get to See Kevin on Thursday!!!! And my family too!!!
5. I get to go home to Atlanta for the Holidays and STAY THERE!
6. I had the best HARD run and work out two days in a row for some good stress relief
7. IM HAPPPY!!!

Well People. My life might be a little more boring once I go home but I cant wait!!! Ah!!

Ending of an era

K This week has gone by incredibly fast! Its been insane! I guess its a good thing though because I cant wait to GRADUATE and be HOME!
Well for those of you who didnt know I got offered a JOB in ST. THOMAS Island to do sales and marketing!! But after much consideration declined. Something in my gut told me not to take it. So Im Atlanta bound! I have been blessed with great opportunities to work right when I get home! I want to feel settled and just constant. With school and jobs in the summer I never felt "Home" in any place. Thats something I really miss and cant wait to have.
Also I got Domesticated this week!!! The Lovely and talented Kim Shaum taught me how to make an awesome Minky blanket.. you know that way way soft material they seem to only use for newborn babies that you cant stop feeling and rubbing your face against? Yeah I have a big girl version of that now!!I must say I was pretty proud of myself! But it was so much fun to work on it with Kim! I was so grateful for her PATIENCE with me and for teaching me. Lets just say I'm one step closer to being the best future mom ever!

ALSO!... Have you heard of Lib Dub: Flash Mobs... You know where people break out into dance in random public places and dance and where they film it and play it in reverse??

Well I got to be apart of one last saturday for the BYU-I Lib Dub flash mob! They only have the trailer/ ROUGH ROUGH ROUGH version up .... none of the lip syncing was practiced yet really but heres a sneak peek of what itll kind of be like for the first lib dub part :

So obviously by the lack of my blog updates I have been INSANELY busy!!!! With school starting again the week after the Thanksgiving break the teachers are layin everything on us! Its been good though, just means it goes by that much faster! I love how each teacher for EACH class requires us to do like 3 hours of hw everyday and with that means about 10 hours of hw.
But on a good note.. from this second there is
13 days 16 hours 46 minutes and 4 seconds til GRADUATION!!!!!!!!!

This is just unreal I still am in shock! ps ANYONE who wants a graduation announcement text or message me through fb or some means :)

So today im Supposed to blog about my friends. I am so lucky and have the BEST friends anyone could ask for!

One of my favorite places I have traveled to was Austria and Germany in 2005. I went with my high school choir to tour around the country and sing. It was AMAZING! Touring the country with some of my best friends doing what we love made for a memorable trip. We got to spend a whole week there and saw SO MANY AMAZING things! Ah I want to go back!Brooke and I in one of the many Cathedrals we sang at!
Melk Abbey Cathedral! This was one of the best experiences singing in Sunday Mass around the Organ chambers. It resonated through out the whole room and was incredible.

So this Thanksgiving was great! I went to my cousin Jenny's and celebrated and ATE with friends and family. It was great to have Jenny and Robbie and I all back together. We used to be best friends growing up and literally had the best adventures. I spent my summers with them in Alabama and Tennessee where we had the craziest imaginations and the best times! Pretty much I love my family and am so blessed!

DAY 6: A Picture of Something that Makes You HappyI love looking at this picture & every time I do I get a smile across my face. I love the excitement, colors, and lights of the pier but the calm and stillness and quiet of the outside surroundings and the water and beach. Its a lot like life, like my life. Crazy and fun and exciting but calm and still and reflective. I love the beach, I love sitting in the sand and hearing the ocean waves. And theres something about an amusement park that makes me feel like a kid again. Just the thought of it makes me smile.

I am so thankful today for everything that I have been blessed with. I have a wonderful and incredible family who brings so much happiness into my life. I have incredible parents who have raised me well and with so much love.
I have incredible friends who bring me so much laughter and unforgettable memories. Loved ones who are there for me no matter how hard I push them away and forgive me of my faults and crazy moments and still want to be with me. I have a roof over my head, an education, freedom, the church, truth, and just so so so many blessings.
I have great health! There are so many hard things in life we all have to go through and I am so thankful for this day that keeps us in check so we dont forget what we have when life gets hard. I am so lucky to spend this day with family and friends in Rexburg!

Spencer will be 7 soon so weird to say out loud is pretty much brilliant and the smartest kid in his class and is the sweetest sweetest boy

Tanner-4- is just crazy crazy crazy. Seriously can make your day just by his hugs. The things that come out of his mouth are hilarious.

Pretty much i have the best family in the world they are so much fun and bring so much happiness into my life. We all have so much fun and my siblings are all amazing people. Overall having 4 brothers and 2 sisters makes for eventful family outings, dinners, and holidays :)

I'm just a lucky gal who gets to have 2! sets of parents.
So there's my Mom and Brian! They are just amazing! They are so in love and just the epitome of a perfect couple. They are a really great example of hard work, respect, and dedication to one another. They are the recent owners of The Buckhead Pizza Company restaurant and are just happy! They enjoy going to concerts like Disturbed, Sevendust, Linkin Park, doing outdoors stuff, running and just having fun. They're pretty awesome parents to have.













As for my Dad and Mom (Lori) they are pretty fantastic as well. My dad is the hardest working person I know and works hard to support our family. My mom is finishing up school to become a teacher and shes pretty freakin smart. They as well are the perfect couple and are great examples of patience, love, understanding, fun, and hardwork. They enjoy flour fights in the kitchen, cuddling, weekly date nights, and being good parents.















So lets just say I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have 4 incredible people in my life who have raised me, are constantly there for me, and love me.
On a side note... Rexburg is a freaking GHOST TOWN! not to mention the huge snow storm and Blizzard that has hit the day everyone left. The wind, snow, and ice have been insane. You can barely even go outside without being mobbed by the storm. Awesome.

Granted we should always be striving to better ourselves and become better people but only to a point where we don't lose our identity. And that's whats important to me.. to not lose who I am in order to please or satisfy someone else.

And.. Weekend update. OF COURSE I went to the Harry Potter Premiere Thursday night! I even had to bring homework to do while waiting. But it was well worth it and HARRY POTTER was AMAZING! Ah so so so so good! My friends... I am NOT a closet HP fan but a loyal and proud fan... However not obsessed :) But nonetheless it was pretty epic

My name is Lindsay Borg, I am currently a senior in my last semester at BYU-Idaho studying Business Management and Marketing with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Communications. I am definitely in transitions with my life right now and like everyone trying to always re-discover myself. I am excited to graduate and move back to Atlanta to have another fresh start at life and see what the future brings

6. I love to daydream throughout the day. I tend to get lost in a good song daydreaming
7. Im affected by everything around me and everyone around me. If someone I know is going through something hard I feel it as well whether I try to or not. Just who I am.
8. Sometimes I feel like it would be easier to go through this life alone even though I know its not. I have become a person who always has my guard up

Catching Up

So Ladies and Gentlemen... I know its been a long time I do apologize! Oh what a busy life. pretty much my life has consisted of School, classes, HW, school, school, and school. And COLDNESS! Yes the high has been in the 30's...the ONLY good thing about that has been the cute winter clothes. So guess what!?
27 DAYS, 17 hours, 6 minutes, and 50 seconds until GRADUATION!!!
I CANT WAIT!

I am really just excited to be back in Georgia and back around family and friends. I really am excited to start making an income for one haha.

O! And I got my graduation pics and have them narrowed down to like 12 haha so yall are going to have to help me pick them out once they're finally edited ok? ok done :)

Best Weekend Ever!

So I have this thing with my best friend Melissa.... That whenever we hang out its "THE BEST DAY EVERY!!!!" or in this case BEST WEEKEND EVER!!
So definitely had the chance to go down to Utah this weekend which was SO needed. I really just had to get out of the Rexburg bubble. I got to see my good friend Logan this weekend! and then just hang out with Melissa all weekend. YES! We got to hang out... go to FORK FEST MUSIC FESTIVAL in American Fork where they had 3 stages with live music and awesomeness.
These are the friends that I always want to have in my life. These are the people that I will never forget about and who have changed my life for the better.
So thats my updated weekend. Definitely dreaded coming back but this week has actually gone by so fast its crazy.

Ah what a crazy week. I must say it has been quite adventurous. I got to meet our new client this week! I will be a consultant for his new start up business helping with market analysis and due diligence. Might sound boring but I love it!

Let me just say I have been doing so much thinking about what I want out of life, the type of person I want to be, and the type of people I want in life. There are so many little quotes and saying about life and love but do we truly listen to them or follow them? I dont really know.I was listening to this song today and really liked the chorus lyrics.I know this might sound ridiculous but this is the person that I want, these are the types of friends I want. Yes this is talking about a relationship but I want to apply it to everyone. I have seen so much lately that people today are landsliding towards selfishness. I have even seen it in myself at times. When was the last time we went out of our way for somebody just because? When was the last time someone showed you that they cared by a simple act of kindness? I really wonder if we surround ourselves with the right people.
I know the type of person that I want to become, and I know the type of people I want in my life.

People who rejoice with you when youre happy,
who are proud of you when you succeed and let you know it,
who cry with you when your heart hurts,
who accept you for who you are and never try to change that,
who inadvertently make you want to be a better person
People who call you just because they care and want to hear about your day

This is what I want. I know its rare to find these people but they are out there and I have been so blessed to have just a few of them in my life.
No matter how hard it is, be a better person, treat people with respect deserving or not. Be more selfless, and be kinder

So this week has been interesting to say the least.... It kind of hit me that Im really GRADUATING this semester. That's it. School will be over. Good bye comfort zone hello real world. Can I really do this!? Im kind of freakin out here!

This weekend was much needed though. Finally got to take a trip down to Utah for General Conference and it was just incredible. So spiritually uplifting and just what I needed. The one thing I love about Conference is that it keeps me in check with the person that I am. How much I want to be better. I have come to realize that I can be pretty selfish in my life. I dont want to be. I just want to be happy, yes... look out for myself... but be there for others too. But I had SO much fun with my roommates this weekend :)
